In Which Julia Jarrett Talks about Hanson. (Dreamy Sigh.)
Julia Jarrett is a Canadian author of spicy romance novels. She started with small-town romance but recently branched out into sports romance, specifically baseball. Julia is a full-time mom and used to work as a hospital social worker before focusing on writing. She has written multiple series and has published a total of 18 books in four years. Julia's ideas for her books come from various sources, including conversations with friends and family, experiences at baseball games, and even dreams. She consults with a plotting coach to help develop her ideas and create chapter outlines. Julia primarily writes in Word but is exploring the use of Scrivener. She initially went wide with her books but eventually transitioned to Kindle Unlimited (KU) and found success with that strategy. Julia Jarrett discusses her experience with marketing and maintaining her author career. She shares her strategies for launching books in a series, building a community of author friends, and maintaining a positive mindset. She also talks about the importance of physical health for authors. Julia's next book, 'Catch Her Heart,' is available for pre-order.
